Toyota HiLux Wreckers Sydney: used parts matched to your car
The HiLux is Australia's most familiar ute, and tradies, farmers and weekend towers all put it through hard work. Two generations cover most requests: the 2005–2015 KUN26 era and the N80 that arrived in 2015, with a facelift in 2018 and another in 2020. Our Toyota HiLux wreckers Sydney team checks every enquiry against the build year and specification you give us.
Cab style changes more than people expect. Single cab, extra cab and double cab have different doors, seats, rear glass and trim, and the tray or tub behind them differs again. Four-wheel-drive and two-wheel-drive models also use different front suspension and driveline.
Please give us the cab style, drive type, grade (Workmate, SR, SR5) and engine, since the 3.0-litre and 2.8-litre diesels use different parts.
What do you need to know about my HiLux?
Build year, cab style, 2WD or 4x4, engine, grade and the part number if you have it.
Is a double-cab door the same as an extra-cab door?
No. Cab style affects doors and many interior parts.
HiLux parts for work and recreation
HiLux customers often ask about tailgates, tub sides, bull bar mounts, bumpers, headlights, front guards, differentials, leaf springs and turbo or injector parts. Customers come to our Toyota HiLux wreckers for the parts listed below, among others.
Tailgates on the N80 are common after reversing mishaps; say whether you need a plain or a locking one. Suspension parts depend on whether the ute was lifted or fitted with a heavy-duty setup.
For diesels, give the engine code and the build year, because emissions equipment such as particulate filters varies between models.
For wider Toyota parts enquiries, start with the brand page.
Can a KUN26 HiLux tailgate fit an N80?
No, the generations differ. Confirm the part number.
Do you handle HiLux diff and driveline parts?
Ask with the drive type and year, and we will check recovered stock.
Inspecting a used HiLux part
Staff remove each part and check it, and you cannot pick items in the yard. Ask about the exact piece, particularly for hard-working components.
For a tailgate or tub side, ask for photos of dents, rust and the lock area. For driveline parts, ask about play, leaks and damage to splines or seals.
We give no warranty or guarantee. A faulty part, or one we supplied incorrectly, can be returned; a part the customer ordered in error cannot be refunded.
What if my HiLux part is faulty?
Contact us with the order details to arrange the return.
Can I return a HiLux part ordered by mistake?
No, so verify the spec first.
HiLux pickup and freight
Collect from our Sydney site when a time is confirmed, or ask us to quote delivery. Small items such as sensors and switches can go by courier. Ask our Toyota HiLux wreckers in Sydney which option suits your item.
HiLux tailgates, tub sides, bumpers and doors are large, and diffs and engines are heavy, so they normally need freight with a truck. Charges are extra and we need a postcode. Batteries and tyres cannot be couriered.
Can a HiLux tailgate be freighted interstate?
It can be quoted by freight, subject to the destination.
Is freight included in the HiLux part price?
No, it is separate.
