Mercedes-Benz A-Class Wreckers Sydney: used parts matched to your car
A-Class parts change more than many buyers expect. The tall W168 and W169 hatches share little with the later W176 hatch or W177 hatch and sedan. We work as Mercedes-Benz A-Class wreckers in Sydney, so a clear description of the part saves time on both sides.
Trim and engine also matter. An A180 or A200 can differ from an A250 or AMG model in brakes, bumpers, cooling parts and suspension, while facelift cars may use different headlights, tail lights and front sensors.
Tell us the generation, body style, engine, transmission and VIN or part number from the old item. That gives us a solid starting point before we check stock.
Which A-Class generation should I mention first?
The code or year range helps most: W168, W169, W176 or W177, then whether it is a hatch or sedan.
Do A-Class hatch and sedan parts differ?
Yes. On W177 cars especially, rear doors, quarter panels, tail lights, glass and boot or hatch parts are body-specific.
A-Class parts across four generations
Common A-Class requests include headlights, mirrors, front bars, condensers, radiators, tail lights, doors, window regulators and interior switchgear. Customers come to our Mercedes-Benz A-Class wreckers for the parts listed below, among others.
Lighting needs careful matching because halogen, xenon and LED systems all appear across the range. Mention any sensors, radar or cameras before ordering a bumper, grille or mirror.
Engines and gearboxes also vary by generation, so quote the engine size and transmission type rather than ordering by badge alone.
For other small and large passenger-car enquiries, see our range of Mercedes-Benz wreckers in Sydney.
Will W176 A-Class parts fit a W177?
Usually not. The platforms, body panels and electronics differ, so confirm the number first.
Can you supply a complete A-Class mirror?
Sometimes, depending on recovered stock. Say whether you need the housing, glass, motor, indicator or the full assembly.
Checking a used A-Class part
Our staff remove and check parts, and customers cannot pick from the yard. Ask about the quoted piece rather than assuming another A-Class item will be similar.
For lights, ask about lens clarity and broken mounting tabs. For bumpers, ask about scuffs along the lower edge and whether sensor brackets or grilles remain attached. Interior trims should be checked for colour and button layout.
We give no warranty or guarantee. Faulty or wrongly supplied parts can be returned; customer-ordered wrong parts cannot.
What if my A-Class part arrives faulty?
Contact us with the order details so return arrangements can be agreed for the faulty or wrongly supplied item.
Can I return an A-Class part I guessed on?
No. If the wrong part was ordered by the customer, it is not eligible for return or refund.
A-Class pickup and delivery
Pickup from our Sydney site is available by arrangement once the part is confirmed. Smaller A-Class items such as switches, modules and some lamps can often travel by courier. Ask our Mercedes-Benz A-Class wreckers in Sydney which option suits your item.
Bonnets, doors, bumpers, engines and gearboxes usually need freight. Shipping is charged separately; include the postcode and receiving contact when you ask for a quote.
Batteries and tyres cannot be sent by courier. If one of those is needed, ask about collection or another suitable freight arrangement.
Can an A-Class door go straight to my workshop?
Yes, by freight, subject to the destination and unloading access.
Is delivery included in the A-Class part price?
No. Freight or courier charges are separate from the quoted part price.
