Ford Mustang Wreckers Sydney: used parts matched to your car
The Mustang came to Australia officially in 2015 with the S550 generation, in left-hand-drive-converted and factory right-hand-drive form. Earlier S197 cars arrived through private conversion, so parts for them can be more varied. Our Ford Mustang wreckers Sydney team checks every enquiry against the build year and specification you give us.
Engine choices are the 2.3 EcoBoost, the 5.0 V8 and, on the Shelby and Mach 1 models, higher-output V8s. Transmissions include the six-speed manual and the 10-speed automatic. Coupe and convertible differ in roof and rear body parts.
Tell us the generation, body, engine and trim. For a conversion car, say whether it was converted to right-hand drive, because dash and steering parts are special.
Are Mustang parts easy to find?
They can be limited, since fewer cars are around. Ask early with full details.
What details do you need for a Mustang?
Generation or year, body, engine, trim and part number.
Mustang parts for a muscle car
Mustang enquiries include headlights, tail lights, bumpers, bonnets, mirrors, brake parts, seats and suspension components. Our Ford Mustang wreckers Sydney team can help with the items below.
On the S550, the sequential tail lights and LED headlights have their own control units, and the FM and Performance pack cars carry larger brakes and different dampers. Name the pack if there is one.
Convertible roof parts and rear body panels are specific, so say clearly which body you have.
If you want the broader picture first, our Ford wreckers in Sydney page covers the other models we are asked about.
Can an S197 part fit an S550?
Almost never. They are different platforms.
Do you have Mustang brake parts?
Ask with the year and pack; availability depends on recovered cars.
Checking a used Mustang part
Our team removes and checks each part, and customers cannot pick from the yard. Ask about the exact piece.
For lights, ask about the lens and control gear. For bumpers, ask about the lower splitter and paint. For brake parts, ask about wear and any scoring.
We give no warranty or guarantee. A faulty part, or one we supplied incorrectly, can be returned; a part the customer ordered in error cannot be refunded.
What if my Mustang part is faulty?
Contact us with order details to arrange a return.
Can I return a Mustang part ordered wrongly?
No. Please confirm the spec first.
Mustang pickup and delivery
Collect from our Sydney site once a time is agreed, or ask for delivery. Small electronic parts and lamps can often be couriered. Ask our Ford Mustang wreckers in Sydney which option suits your item.
Mustang bumpers, bonnets and doors are large and need protected freight, and engines and gearboxes need a truck. Shipping is extra. We cannot courier batteries or tyres.
Can a Mustang bonnet be freighted?
Yes, with suitable packing and subject to destination.
Is delivery included in the Mustang price?
No, it is separate.
